About Me

I moved to Sedona as a child in  1974 and worked 32 years for Marc Spector at The  Hideaway Restaurant.

I learned so much from this place I called my home. I built relationships with the long standing kitchen crew, wait staff and especially my long standing costumers, some that I waited on for the 32 years and gained friendships and is part of the reason of why I loved my job so much.  Over the years I gained  knowledge of how to handle the many types of personalities  that came to enjoy our food and atmosphere. I have great multitasking skills and I can see things that need to be done and what people need before they would have to ask me. In 2013  Marc told us we had to shut our doors, I grieved quite some time as I lost more than a job. I lost family ties in so many different ways.

I then was asked to work for Judies restaurant by my long time friend as well as a patron of The Hideaway. I worked there for a year and a half. I felt that since I had moved to Flagstaff in 1991 I was restless to be still driving down to Sedona and that I would like to serve people close to home in a new fashion. So I created GoFer Girl Friday.

Also during this time my mom started declining with her dementia and I needed to be more available to cook meals, shop, pay bills, doctors appointment and eventually having to place her in a group home right by my house, where I continued to take her out for social activities, lunches and church. She passed December 10, 2015. I miss her very much. I have always felt a special connection to the older generation  and have a soft spot in wanting to serve them. They are the ones  who know who a "Girl Friday" Is and what she does.

I am also the owner and creator of The Gypsy Chicks here in Flagstaff, which I started in 2002. We are a professional  family friendly Belly Dance Troupe.

I am proud to tell you that I come from a long line of family serving the public  including Police, Fire and Nursing. I also taught Senior Chair Fitness for 5 years at Sedona Winds.

I have been happily married to my best friend John since 2001. My hobbies include,daily hiking with my Huskies, camping, biking, church and spending time with friends. Which include my two girls along with the five adorable grandkids they blessed me with.

My goal as a personal assistant , is to give you my  helping hand and the  peace of mind. As I serve from my moral foundation of  honesty and integrity.
